Junior IT Support Technician
Salary £15 - £20k depending on experience and qualifications
Based in Hinxworth near Baldock, Hertfordshire
Working with the Technical Manager supporting customers and staff you will gain varied experience across many areas of technical service delivery including WAN, LAN, server and office support.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with an IT background who is quick to learn new skills and improve on their existing expertise.
E2BN works mainly with Local Authorities and Schools.

Knowledge and experience of Local area networks, wireless networks, TCP-IP, Vlans & routing, Microsoft Windows server products, active directory, DNS, DHCP. Some knowledge of Linux would be an advantage.
Excellent IT skills; ability to use a PC/laptop and experience in using word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentations
Excellent communication skills, ability to use telephone confidently, accuracy when compiling reports. Problem solving skills,
Daily check of network, backups and server performance indicators
Linux Server administration(or ability to learn)
Web filtering management
Research e.g. schools Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)
Dealing with enquiries via ticketing system
Office equipment installs and maintenance
E2BN Conference technical assistance
Rural location - must have own transport some travel will be required
