Reporting to the ICT Manager, the Assistant Network Manager will have responsibility for providing support and maintenance of the school’s large and varied ICT network..
This newly created role would suit a knowledgeable ICT professional looking to further their career into management. The main responsibilities include managing the workload of a small team of ICT Technicians, ensuring support requests are dealt with in a timely and professional manner and monitoring and updating the network infrastructure. There will also be opportunities to work alongside the ICT Manager in strategically developing the ICT infrastructure within the school. The role requires the individual to work with staff and pupils and therefore good communication skills are an important element to the job role.
