To this end the University has developed a People and Culture Strategy and HR has a pivotal role to play in delivering it. A new HR Customer Services & Operations team has been created to deliver HR service excellence as part of the People and Culture Strategy and the HR Information and Systems Specialist is integral to this.The role holder has responsibility for the development and management of the HR Information System(s) ensuring that they are optimally utilised to support the effectiveness and efficiency of HR operations. A key part of the role is the development and provision of quality management information from the systems, including analysis and interpretation of the data and completion of various surveys and regulatory returns (such as HESA).You will have proven skills and knowledge of:- Managing HR systems- A high level of data manipulation and analytical skills- Understanding HR Operational issues and the provision of system solutions- Project management- Service management framework policies- Advising non-technical system users- Communicating effectively at all levels- Intranet and networking technologies environmentsYou are driven with a can do attitude and a strong customer service focus.
