Assistant Network Manager - North East Cornwall (near Plymouth)

Next week I will be posting a full time, permanent Assistant Network Manager job to start ASAP in Cornwall.

The role will be within a team 5 in an IT specialist school with very close proximity to Plymouth, Devon.

This year we're transitioning away from RM CC4 to a vanilla 2012 SCCM network. The school has a lot of equipment for example: blade servers running hyper-v, SANs, Apple servers and a whole site managed Cisco wireless network. There's plenty to do and it's certainly not going to be a boring/static role!

I'll add more information to this post next week.

    Many thanks,

    David

    Hi David,
I'm aware that the close date for this job has pasted but i thought i could still get in touch with you about it. The job role hugely appeals to me as it what i do as a hobby. I'm looking to start a career in IT, i am currently studying CCNA network basics at Camborne College. It seems that you've got quite of lot of mess to clean up from the previous Network manager and i would love to help. I'm sure there will be plenty of jobs that will need doing such as installing OS' , updating drivers and many other things that i would be more than capable of doing so you can spend your time better on the more "techy stuff" . I wouldn't be after a full wage i am just looking for an apprenticeship type scheme or minimum wage (to cover travel costs) to gain experience in the workplace. Please let me know if this is of any interest to you and i can forward you more details about myself and my IT experience (i can build, install, troubleshoot laptops, tablets, computers and am currently learning about configuring routers and switches etc).
    Many thanks for your time
