ICT Technician
Grade 6, scale points 26-28 (£24,351 - £25,851)
35 hours per week

The Role

The Trust seeks to recruit a versatile ICT Technician to provide technical support to staff and students at Twyford CE High School. The successful candidate will join a friendly, experienced and busy IT Services office and will ideally have experience of working in a school based environment. The ability to work professionally under pressure to deadlines and operate flexibly within the changing needs of the school is essential.

This is a varied role and will suit a person who has had exposure to a selection of different technologies including Microsoft Server 2008, Windows 7, Office 2010 and music technology applications such as Cubase. Excellent communication skills are essential as is enthusiasm, commitment and a willingness to play an active role in the life of the school. If you take pride in your work and have a “can do” attitude we would like to hear from you.

Successful Candidates will have:

• A good education to at least GCE ‘A’ level
• Experience of using Microsoft technologies and in supporting Audio Visual systems
• Customer service experience
• An ability to plan and manage workload
• A professional attitude and excellent attendance
• Energy and enthusiasm

The School

Twyford Church of England Academies Trust is dedicated to delivering outstanding education within a comprehensive setting. The Trust has grown from Twyford CoE High School, a large, high-achieving and heavily over-subscribed comprehensive school with a flourishing sixth form. The school was rated as ‘Outstanding’ overall in its most recent Ofsted inspection and has a considerable reputation within the Diocese and the local area. In September 2013 the Trust opens its second school within Ealing - the William Perkin CoE High School, Greenford.
