Hi Mike,
I hate to ask this question, but what does the Pay Scale relate to in terms of actual pay? I can't find the pay scales on the Derbyshire.gov website.
Cheers

There is no national rate at moment single national pay hasn't been sorted so depends on what unions negotiated in Derby.

Most jobs now you would be expected to do that gone are days when you could get out of that one. Lucky here I joined just before that craze came in.

Most people currently don't but move in schools is that all support staff to stuff like this but as it is no part of your current contract current staff can't really be asked. But for new staff they add it is part of contract.

Re: Senior IT Technician - Derby
No schools in this region would dream of asking IT staff to do break/lunch duty, it's teaching staff and senior managements responsibility!
