    Data Manager/Officer

Realistically, how's the best way to find out where roles like this are being advertised?

I'm technically an IT technician but I'm effectively the MIS guru. I need to move to progress, though. Any ideas where to look? Any private companies or agencies who might be able to help out?

Try TES, the Guardian and the Times... I don't know what part of the country you are in, but I do know a school on the Kent/Sussex borders looking for someone.

    I wish I could afford Kent/Sussex borders!

    I'm East Midlands/Yorkshire.

LEA job sites often advertise posts in their area, though I don't know how academyisation will have effected this.

SIMS related jobs are often advertised on Supportnet - you should be able to get a login if your school uses SIMS and you do not currently have one.
