Part Time ICT Technician / Manager – Milton Keynes

Due to changes I have to leave one of my schools, and so they are now thinking about a replacement.

The current position is for 1 day per week, 52 weeks of the year on Pay Scale MK7

The role would be suitable for an experienced Technician / Manager or someone who is currently a Technician in another school who may be looking to take the next step and gain some more experience and responsibility alongside their current role.

The School is a 2 form primary (Nursery to Y6). Currently the network consists of a single W2K3 Server and approx. 110 Win XP clients. The IT is currently going through a transition so this would be an ideal time for someone to take on the role from the ground up.

UniFi Wireless has just been rolled out across the site. New curriculum and Admin servers have been purchased ready for commission. An EES licence has been purchased and a number of laptops, desktops and AV equipment have also been purchased ready for install.
