Senior Tech - York
There's a Senior Tech position about to open up at Archbishop Holgate's School in York. I'm off to pastures new...
You'll be given free reign to develop and administrate as you see fit. The Network Manager is purely school data (SIMS). As such it's a great place to develop skills that really interest you.
SLT is worried there might be a bit of skills vaccuum, so are after someone with the right stuff. The salary is likely to be around scale 5.
This is a lovely place to work and worth a commute. They've even taken me on trips abroad etc!
If you're interested and would like to discuss PM me. For further details and forms email:

Your surrounded by Ladies "I.C.T. Technicians Mrs A. Craggs, Mrs A. Newby, Mr L. Wear " (from http://www.archbishopholgates.org/ah...ospectusPage30)
Oh no what have I said Jake will be moving to York for your job!
Anyway sounds a good job, but shame its towards 2hrs commute for me as I would go for it if I was closer and I cannot justify a 2hr commute each way and no finances to move closer.

They will probably still be looking into next year if they don't raise the pay scale.

Hehe. It'll be around 19k (don't shoot the messenger!), nothing unusual I'm afraid. I agree with you Bossman, this is essentially a NM's post. I'm chief cook and bottle washer. Great place to learn...
