Anyone else received an email from emPSN about continued connectivity and costs today?
Other than being HUGELY overcomplicated (especially as it says its also addressed to primary schools!) the price quoted didn't specifiy if it was per annum or the whole 4y contract. Anyone have any thoughts? @GrumbleDook?
EMPSN overly complicated? Surely not :)
I've been out of the office today so will comment when I can but did you contact the emPSN office at all? I know Steve has been available and has been taking calls / emails on queries from schools across all the LAs.
As for complicated ... more a case that there are a range of options set out, as schools had requested rather than an LA or RBC apparently dictating to them ... Give some schools what they wanted and you have others saying it is too complex.
I'll be in the barrel trying to find a corner to stand in! ;)
Hehe, always a catch 22 :) This one just seemed unnecessarily complex but that may just be my take on it. Besides which, I would hope a majority of schools are already set/looking to order something imminently by now. Nothing there worth me contacting them about, we're already set, was just wondering if an acronym and technicality filled document was going to be much help to the average non-tech.
