NetworkNorthants Meetings 2011/2012

We are putting together the dates for meetings for the next academic year.

Here are the suggested dates.

Mon 19th September 2011 (10.00 - 16.00)
Wed 26th October 2011 (13.00 - 1600)
Wed 8th February 2012 (13.00 - 16.00)
Wed 14th March 2012 (13.00 - 16.00)
Thu 10th May 2012 (13.00 - 16.00)
Fri 6th July 2012 (13.00 - 16.00)

All sessions (except for Mon 19th Sept) will follow the usual format of 13.00 - 15.00 for the regular meeting and 15.00 - 16.00 for open discussion / chatting with presenters / networking. Meetings will probably be held in Northampton again (Riverside House) but we are always looking for schools to host the meeting, as well as schools to talk about what they are doings in their schools.

We are still arranging the meeting for Mon 19th Sept but it is planned that we will take 2 minibuses from Northants to Bletchley Park, have the regular meeting in the morning, lunch will be provided and then a tour around The National Museum of Computer / Bletchley Park.

As the 26th October was during half term (or I slept though the meeting!), will there be another Network Northants meeting before the winter break?

Apologies to all for not getting stuff planned in time but other events have taken priority.

I am waiting on confirmation of venue and speakers but the pencilled in date is now Mon 28th November. We'll get the Eventbrite site up and running on Monday with details of locations, times, presenters, etc. We might even hound @SpuffMonkey to see if he will pay a visit!

Priority is to those working in Northants schools (including teachers and governors), those providing tech support on a contracted basis to Northants schools, suppliers (as long as they don't turn up just to try and grab people to sell to ... unless asked) and then those working with schools outside of the area.

It is open to *all* schools, including academies and independent schools.

Book a place and I'll stick you on the reserve list and let you know what spaces are like.

I'll do my finances first (as it will cost a few bob to get there from mine) so I will register by tomorrow evening if I am able to make it, I don't want to take a reserve place if I am unable to go. Cheers though
