Two new Cloud Print services have been announced by Google. The first is the Google Cloud Print Service which runs as a service on a Windows server and allows administrators to share hosted printers through the Cloud Print system. The printers can then be shared to users within a Google Apps for Education domain.
This means that your current classroom printers can be shared through Cloud Print to your Google Apps users without changing any of your internal infrastructure. Access to printers can also be managed through the Google Apps control panel.
The second new service is the similarly named Google Cloud Printer Driver. Driver allows Google Apps users to install and print to any Cloud Print printers they have access to from native Windows applications. Now you can printer to Cloud Print printers from Microsoft Office, Adobe Reader or Photoshop. (Source
