Thunderbird 2.0 Released

Mozilla released Thunderbird 2 today, a major update to its free, open source email client. Thunderbird 2 offers easy ways to manage and organize your email with message tags, advanced folder views, message history navigation, find as you type, and improved new mail alert notifications. Thunderbird 2 also includes support for Microsoft Vista and an updated user interface.

Thunderbird 2 is immediately available for Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems in over 35 languages as a free download from www.getthunderbird.com.

installed it first thing this morning on my ubuntu.
Have to say it has a much smoother feel than 1.5. Only niggle was that I had to re-import everything (set up my edugeek rss etc) as it wouldn't use my 1.5 profile.
