Is this deployable by msi?

I have been searching for one and found nothing yet![]()
The Office 2007 pack is, the OpenXML convertor isn't as far as I can see. With the Office 2007 one, you run the executable with the "/extract:$path$" switch, that extracts the contents of the executable and reveals the MSI.
Thanks Norphy

Cheers Norphy, sounds perfect![]()
So without being to thick here.............(bear with me) Most primary schools i visit are mainly using office 2003 with a few on 2000. I have already been asked about 2007 and i knew of issues with backward compatablity. If i install the msi through GPO does this mean if a new office document is created in 2007, then all other users will be able to open/edit it as well?
Yes. It will work with any version of Office dating back to 2000. You can open, edit and create Word, Excel and Powerpoint 2007 documents with the earlier versions of Office as long as you have this installed.

It also works with the Viewers so I was told on Monday by the Technet team
I guess a few people will have to deal with this issue when they deploy office 2007 in the summer.
