    Looks like it needs a certain dedicated graphics card:

    To run the application properly, your hardware (real or otherwise) should be at least equal to these specs:

    2.4GHz processor
    Nvidia 7800 GTX or ATI 1300 graphics card
    2.3GB Free Disk Space

    Do you have these? (daft question but had to ask)

    Yes I have those. What has occurred to me is that during the install of Muvizu the DirectX component failed but the rest of the install proceeded as expected. I thought that this should be OK to ignore as I already have DirectetX fully updated on my machine. However perhaps this is where my problem lies?
