    Check Your PC's Boot Duration

    I am getting complaints from certain departments. I am told that the machines are slow to boot but when I check they seem fine. This is subjective and contentious. However I have found a utility this evening which should allow me to attach a numerical value to a stations' boot:

    I've often found that a brand new monitor and flash looking mouse speed up computers no end... - especially the "subjective and contentious ones"

    It's amazing how much better our Dell GX60's are with 19" TFT monitors instead of 17" CRT's - last year I was forever getting complaints about the speed of them, but this year hardly any!
