    I'm on a NC10 so i can see them also. Though my server has 4 HDD led's on the inside, could be useful there.

    Being able to see the drive leds doesn't really tell you an awful lot though.

    Eh, yeah, it isn't supposed to, but it does tell you if there is disk activity (or not), which you wouldn't otherwise see if working remotely etc.

    Never really bothered with them when I had a pc and I dont now - I just use iStat pro ( nice little widget )

    I liked a little application on RiscOS that used the scroll lock led to indicate HDD access.
