Wow - that looks great!

looks good there other paid for tools look good to such as the password policy one giving you more than one policy per domain.

This looks like an excellent tool - will give it a bash on the school network tomorrow

I have had a chat with them and they are doing a web demo for me of their other products next week. I'll report back on what they are like.
The Wake-On-LAN function relies on MS DHCP server, and it only works with PCs that have acquired an address which is not a reservation. Not a major problem, and they are working on it.
I've got PasswordPolicy here and will be fully implementing in September when we launch electronic attendance and assessment in the classroom. It certainly seems to do what it's supposed to.
Downloaded and briefly played with GPUpdate, which seems good, especially since it's free. I think it gives a good idea of what SpecopsSoft do.
Their support is very good.
When i tried to "Restart" a PC with a pupil logged in it came bacl with an "Access Denied" error - it only restarted when i logged the pupil out of the machine..

Nice piece of kit but i already have this as part of my MMC as i run RMCC3 and all these features are embedded within the console. All workstations bootup at 7am sharp and close at 7pm sharp. Can shutdown workstation of choice even with pupil logged on (force off). Change password and even enforce password policy. Can run group policy updates to specific workstations or the whole domain. But all the same it seems like a very nice piece of kit would be interested in GrumbleDook's evaluation of it.
LanView 3 server allows for remote shutdown reboot log off and you can force this as well if someones is logged on!
