It saves us the effort anyway. Whilst you are there download the free version of VMWare server.

The browser appliance is a good one to give to those users who only have to look at a web browser to get it infected with allsorts![]()
Wish there was a pre-made CensorNet appliance there to have a play with.
I'll make one.![]()

I'm playing with the free VMWare Server app. Dammed nice it is too.
There's an IPCOP one (similar to Censornet) here:

Cheers - I'll have a play - still love to see a CensorNet one if you get time though!Originally Posted by Geoff
So a question for all the VMWare-ers here... why would I pay for Workstation (something I was looking at) when I can have Server for free?
Cheers,

You need a Server to run...uh..Server edition..
However, there's a Linux version of Server. So you could get round having to pay for anything that way I suppose.
I've already made an XP VM using VMWare Server on my XP machine![]()

Really? When I tried to install Server on XP it was moaning about IIS not being installed.
Well.... I had already installed IIS on my machine for another job.
Andy
It'll still install without IIS, you just won't be able to configure it with the fancy web interfaces.
