    Mediacoder - media transcoder

    I was asked to convert a DVD of about 30 short video clips to WMV the other day. I normally use the online media-convert.com site but downloading was slow.

    So, I came across this:

    MediaCoder - more than a universal audio/video transcoder

    It's free, has a really nice interface and is really good at converting video files to your exact specs.
