Adobe Creative Suite 2 now completely free
Not sure how useful this will be since CS2 is now 7 years old. Still, it is free so you can't complain.

Well, it doesn't contain the witchcraft that CS6 has in it, but free is always a good price!!!

Is this only for personal use or can it be installed on to a school network too?

I imagine it would be for personal use only. These things usually are.
For some reason the link no longer works.

The link appears to have altered slightly - https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitl...s2%5Fdownloads

Alternate download links posted in the opening post. The serial numbers do not appear to be unique either.

The whole lot with direct download links and serial keys has been posted on HotUKDeals.

Maybe its Adobes latest attempt to get people used to using their software with a view that people will try it and want to get the latest version?

Seems it's not free at all
So no real difference to "downloading" the latest version, but it's a silly way of doing it Adobe!

You have heard wrong! Adobe is absolutely not providing free copies of CS2!
What is true is that Adobe is terminating the activation servers for CS2 and that for existing licensed users of CS2 who need to reinstall their software, copies of CS2 that don’t require activation but do require valid serial numbers are available. (Special serial numbers are provided on the page for each product download.) See <Adobe Community: Looking to activate Creative Suite 2, Acrobat 7, or Macromedia products?

I knew it was too good to be true! Adobe aren't normally this generous.

I've downloaded it and registered. Be interesting to see what happens. I still use Premiere Pro 2 at home with Twixtor because I found it was not very stable with CS5.

I have a teacher that wants just Premier pro 2 installed in one classroom after he saw the news that it was now "free".
