My SMT are looking to get in some professional training on how to get the best from our many SmartBoards.
A quick google doesn't reveal much. Have any of your schools done this if so who did you use and can I have a web link :)
West Mids based if possible if they don't come to the school.
We've used Smarter Interactive, they were very good.

Also have a look at the ICT Register for schools in your region that may be able to help.
Have you checked with your LEA. We have Advanced Skills Teachers who can come in and do training. These have the advanatage that they are actually teachers, who teach!
Apparently we may have someone in-house that can do the job
I'm not holding my breath though ;)
Thanks for the replies so far :D
I fail to see the advantage here or am I being too cynicle?

Given that you have somebody in house ( Hugh Lawrie) they may find this useful

The forum although a bit USAcentric has some useful tips on there, I think the Notebook toolbox which can be used to make your own activities and quizzes is great for somebody with the time and inclination.
