Neos IT Training - Worcester

Hi Guys!

Hope everyone has a great xmas and that you weren't too worked down on those last few days of term ("I dont have any dvd software on my laptop!").

To the point: My last three working days of this year were on a course at Neos IT Training in Worcester. Highly recommended! I went on the Server 2003 Network Services (3 days), the trainer Alan Hutt (MCSE) is very very good at delivering the course and as a former MS trainer knows all the tricks!

They plough will all the cakes/ coffe / tea that you can handle and at lunch times pay for a slap up meal in a very busy but quaint pub!

I had the fish is it was more like a whale!

Anyway the course was really good and he covered lots that wasn't in the course but thought was more useful for us.

Two of my colleagues went of two different courses the weeks before mine and said the exact same.

What did it cost for the 3 day course?

£300 - which isn't bad considering what you get!

Thats pretty good price for a M$ course. Especially so that they throw in lunch :D

I paid £510 for the same course only last month.

Will have to lookinto this place in the new year.

Well definate rule of thumb is if your willing to pay for the courses then about £100 a day is the rate you want to be paying maybe less if you book a load.

Just out of interest how many on the course you did.

The one i attended has a little rulein place. Minimum of 4 max of 6.

After looking att he pricing on their website i can't find anything neaer £100 a day for training.

We did have a deal. Normally its 275 per day. They have enough room for 16. 2 rooms of 8.

I called up the company and explained what i wanted to and which course i wanted to take and they said that for schools they will offer the courses for £100 per day. The do know that schools and colleges have limited budget hence the discount.

I would also like to highly recommend NEOS they are a great team. I ended up when i went near the beginning of December having one on one tution with Alan who is a top bloke and alway willing to answer any question. I agree with the lunch's I had jacket spud and beans and its more like half a feild of spuds and enough beans to fill the titanic.

@ SECMAN y not stay in worcester while on the course as you will say a lot of money at £100 a day so get a b+b, i did and i only live in gloucestershire. I would recommend burgage house about 300 metres from the training centre at £35 a night for a single very very nice. Also there are a lots of pubs and shops in the centre for an evening meal, I ate in the evening at the eagle pub, big steak for £12 including a pint bargin.
Also the train station is about a 15minute walk from the centre. Which is on the main line to london.

If anybody wants to know anymore just ask. Also i will be there again from the 23-25 of january on another course so see you there.

Another thumbs up for NEOS Training, I took the 3 day Active Directory Design and Implementation course there, Training was great and a nice facility. Alan Hutt took the course and found it to be very useful. Bargin
