Visit Us on Stand K56 at BETT 2011
This year we are exhibiting at BETT on stand K56 as a guest of ROAR Educate. We will be showcasing our Practitioner and Advanced accredited courses, our new online Practitioner course which we are providing as a collaborative exercise with VITAL and The Open University and the new ICT Maturity Assessment service.
Come and talk to us about:
Professionalisation of your ICT workforce
Getting a better return on your ICT support investment
Boosting staff confidence in your ICT infrastructure

7th January 2011, 05:49 PM #3 I agree little-miss...I haven't been able to get out much to take my exams or go to proper courses (except for self study)...but I should be able to do an online course at work!

7th January 2011, 06:29 PM #4 I agree, this sounds right up my street!
On a different note, I'm gutted as I won't be able to make it to Bett next week!

Does this mean that we can get credit for the Open Univeristy if we have the Practitioner and Advanced certs?

Not yet ... and they still haven't responded back to my questions on it either (OU that is), so going to chat with the VITAL folk whilst at BETT to see what can be done.

Yes, two hours a week for eight weeks.

10th January 2011, 11:50 AM #12 if we finished the self study sooner, could we take the exam sooner?

Doesn't give people much time to get approval etc... I presume it will continue to run throught the year.
It's not face to face but could still be lecturer led online or that type of scenario where you have to do the 2 hours at the same time as everyone else?

This pilot course will take eight weeks to complete. The course does not include the exam which can be booked separately.

This course is a pilot and additional dates are likely to be arranged throughout the year. It is expected that everyone will study at the same pace with support through a forum.
