Default Technician Training

Does anyone know of any courses for technicians that are aimed somewhere between basic and a full-blows A+. One of the technicians here would like something along those lines, but I'm finding it difficult to find something that's sort of short and sharp and to the point.

Cheers.

a+ is 2 exams if that makes any difference. software wise it might be worth looking at ms 290, which is using xp.

Thanks, but I'm trying to avoid anything with exams and an element of home study unless I have no option...really wanting something aimed specifically at a technician for 1 or 2 days, just as a kick-start beyond the basics. Used to have them, but I can't find anything like them now.

Cheers anyway.

Hi
I think Russ might mean NEOS IT in Worcester
NEOS IT Training
went on their "windows 2003: Network Services course (3 days) it was excellent lot's of hand's on experience.
Easy to get to by train or car from Leicestershire and I stayed in an excellent B&B near the cathederal and 5 mins from Neos - very reasonable rates
They have reduced rates on some of the courses for schools - just ask
Caroline

I would recommend Neos IT too, went on their upgrade to Windows 2008 Server course last month, very informative and fairly hands on. Their trainers seam to know what they are talking about too, even if you go pretty far off topic as i did a few times.
They were (i dont know if they still are) doing half price courses for schools as well, so a three day course is about £400.
Have a look
