Hi all passed my security+ yesterday with a mark of 890.......am qualified Mcsa but very little experience apart from shadowing an administrator for 6 months.......I'm a mature person 51.......and looking for a job now......any ideas anyone.......

Might be worth putting your cv around to local schools to see if there are any opportunities for "work experience", which could well turn into employment. Don't ignore the independent sector... they are often more cash-strapped than the state schools (I work in one now )
Keep an eye on our jobs board for tech jobs - your age shouldn't be an issue. By law, employers aren't allowed to be ageist!
The other thing to consider is an ad in the paper to do home/small business PC support. There's always a demand for people who know their way around PCs.

I have two techs working for me over the age of 50 so don't consider yourself 'out of bounds'.
Congratulations, I'm looking at the CompTIA + range of certs to pick up some quals.
