My SMT are looking to get in some professional training on how to get the best from our many SmartBoards.
A quick google doesn't reveal much. Have any of your schools done this if so who did you use and can I have a web link
West Mids based if possible if they don't come to the school.

10th May 2008, 11:41 AM #4 Have you checked with your LEA. We have Advanced Skills Teachers who can come in and do training. These have the advanatage that they are actually teachers, who teach!

12th May 2008, 12:26 PM #7 Proactive Learning in East of England did our installs and provided training as part of the package. This was on-site. According to their website, they will also supply training only packages. Not sure if they would come as far as you, but may be worth a try. I think teachers here found the training good. Link below:

Forums - SMART Exchange
The forum although a bit USAcentric has some useful tips on there, I think the Notebook toolbox which can be used to make your own activities and quizzes is great for somebody with the time and inclination.
