    Funding/ VAT exemption for training

I'm basically trying to save some dosh here..

Does anyone know the rules, or of any way to officially buy hardware etc and not pay VAT with the purchase being solely for business/ training/ personal development purposes?

I'm sure I've seen it somewhere for Local Government employees but can't remember where.

    Ta!

Run your own company, and purchase hardware as assets for that company, you can write off the cost against tax.
