    A+ training

Been given the go ahead to look into some training courses for my A+; had planned all along to go with self study and reading my Myers book but during the school day and after work there just isn't enough time/energy in me and after 18 odd months it's bumming me out a little.

So, any suggestions? Ideally in London, maybe an hour or so out. We've an apprentice here who's doing Firebrand stuff but I'm interested to know of any other places where I can rock up, go through everything and sit the exams there and then?

There are loads of courses in London for this type of training. Do you need the A+ for a reason? (it reads like your an experienced technician)

Wouldn't say experienced by any stretch of the imagination; bits and bobs here that I know I'm mostly doing simple end user-classroom stuff and if I can't do it pass it on to my colleagues. I try reading through the books in my spare time and use that knowledge in the workplace but get so swamped down sometimes. Plus for the sake of my CV it's obviously never a bad thing to have.

    CompTIA A+ Training Course | CompTIA A+ Classes | Learn CompTIA A+

CompTIA A+ Certification: Accelerated for All 2012 Exam Objectives - Training course catalogue - QA

Or you should find if you google A+ London a load of colleges will also run courses for you.

The main thing to consider would be if the A+ or Microsoft courses would be better for your personal progression.

You can also try online training with The National Skills Academy for IT. It's about £300 a year for an annual subscription and it gives you access to LOADS of courses, including the CompTIA A+ and N+, as well as Microsoft and Cisco too.

Edit: This doesn't include the cost of taking the exams, though. You pay for them separately.
