    Drawing Attention To Blog Posts

    Hi,

I have found that allot of users are not noticing blog posts and are missing things that could be handy. I am guilty of this myself. There doesnt seem to be anything that draws users over to that section. Most of us stick to the forums.

Maybe we could do something the advertise this area?

The blogs link at the top of the page not good enough? Maybe a few animated GIF's and chasing cursors would help? ;-)

There's also a 'recent blog posts' module on the homepage.

We used have a red * that appeared in the old edugeek site (vbulletin v3) when there was new blog posts which I thought was subtle and obvious at the same time.
I am re-adding that feature, just finishing testing.
