    Subscribable calendars

Sparked off from a comment by theeldergeek, do you think we could get an events calendar back (subscribable of course) where members can put forward events which are on locally, regionally and nationally?

Sounds like a good idea, are people now able to download the calendar item's onto there "outlook" calendar for example?

    Main Calendar

I just tried creating an event item for the EduGeek Conference 2010, but it disappeard guessing it's because we dont have permissions to add items.

It needs Mod approval and is not in a format I can hook into Entourage, iCal or Outlook (that I can see).

It shouldn't be that you have to export it, it should be a feed you can subscribe to which will automagically update your calender client. I could generate one via Google Calendar, but that would defeat teh object of having it embedded into EG and linked with EG events such as the conference (which isn't on the calendar BTW).
