    Can you allow links to edugeek in sigs?

    I simply want to put a link to 2 threads on edugeek in my sig.

    Looks a bit crap at the moment.

    Yup, Normal Members are not allowed to have links to websites in there Sig's.

    Where as members whom have certain roles within EduGeek have this priverlidge.

    From what i imagine the reason normal members dont have the ability to do this is to prevent spam etc.. not sure why it let me do it for you but it could be because i am a mod.

    Edit: I have edited your Signiture to have links

    I don't think its a bug, so it isn't really a fix - it would adding a capability.

    Doing so opens up issues with spamming in my mind.

    Yeh its not a bug as such, signature link spam was a bit of a problem which is why we removed it. I will have a think of what to do about this. I would like it if you could link post count to sig usage (aka no links until 5 posts) but I am not sure if I can hack it to do it yet.

    If people are spamming then make a rule or ban them, but please don't block normal users from linking important stuff.

    I'm not even linking offsite, I'm linking to edugeek threads.
