    Anyone else find the new "Sponsored By" graphics a bit distracting with the forums?

    Yeah a bit, they are a bit big, how bout they go in a column of there own next to the title column?

    ok will look into it putting it next to title but to be very blunt size will stay as advert keeps this site free...

    Only displays it when you go to the forum anyway and so cant see it being end of world but will look into position of it

    We may look at shrinking the graphic I think, but for the time being they are covering the costs of our dedicated server and other items. Major changes to EduGeek will be taking place next year, and we should be able to accomodate
    something less distracting (which is them in the first olace I must say. Whist they are bringing in money there are many costs to be covered, and we need them to support us because it will be crippling for me to meet these costs myself, as I have been doing since day one.

    DB, I know they are paying the way, just the latest one was so big and in your face even on a 19" TFT it skews it all up. But I am sure we can live with it / jiggle it a bit to make it less skewing of the site just the new one seemed really big earlier.

    Its an optical illusion. There is just 1px differance in height between the two images.

    How about a slight modification so it goes:
    Hardware - sponsored by:
    INSERT BANNER

    Having Hardware - sponsored by: all in the same small font as Harware is currenty in and then having the banner left aligned? but the same size

    As an end user you have the option to filter the images out for yourself - so it shouldn't ever be a problem

    I use the edugeek toolbar ... but dip in and out of other areas ... so that is when I'll see supplier info.
