    Here's an idea; do you think it would be possible to setup and integrate sparkweb into the forums?

    Actually, instead of the flash based SparkWeb, maybe it would be possible to use one of these and have inbuilt chat (like Facebook / LCS)? Possibly with online settings (for chat) next to each user?

    I've had a play with pretty much all the web based jabber clients, and I would have to say that most of them are unstable and buggy. JWChat particularly so. SparkWeb will probably be a better choice really.

    Sparkweb is pretty unstable and I have been watching it for over a year now (and did some coding with it too)
    Half the problem has been openfire having its own http issues and bugs as well as sparkwebs issues but I am hoping it will get better soon.
    The others had issues too like Local said.
    I will take a gander at the ajax one though, not seen it before.
