Default Ignore function - make it easier to find please?

Having had to search for a while to locate the necessary link it'd be useful to set the "Ignore" function so it's more obvious and easier to locate.

Right now you have to click the username > "view public profile" > "user lists" and then select "ignore user".

How does the ignore affect threaded conversations? Does it just not display the relevant posts, leaving gaps? I've never used it.

You get the option to view the content but basically you see a little note in the appropriate place(s) to say you're ignoring user X's posts so you can at least see when you're missing something...

I'm starting to think we could do with an ignore thread option... not this one, the moaning one that's refusing to go to sleep.
