    I would say it seems 'faster' but still not lighting fast - but that'll be down to rendering times of all these dynamic pages.

    Yep as said this is interm measure just to stop site grinding to a hault...

    As said problem is down to fundamental issue with the cms which is way we are moving away from it.

    Dunno really probably is but then as today is the first day of summer break it could just be that everyone else has gone home.

    It does seem quicker so far, although still slower than most other forums

    Its better than it normally is though, it is incredibly slow most of the time

    Not sure yet, I have never really had a problem with the speed of the site but I can never get onto the site between the hours of 12:30pm to 2pm

    So that will be the big test for me, if I can access at lunch time today all will be good.

    I'll let you know.

    It's faster and much more stable. No more "page not found" errors when the browser times out.
