I have download an example of a program / souce code that was produced in vb 2008 (stated on website) off the internet, and when I open it up in VB2010 Express i get the following two options for converting, i was wondering if someone can explain the diffrences between the two.
I see there have been quite some viewers on the post but doesn't anyone know the diffrence then between the two?

All i can think of is that you have two installations of VB 2010 Express. I would open it with the first option and see, but before you do take a copy of the original program so that you can still try the other one if it does not work.

I presume express 2010 is the free version and visual basic 10 is the paid for version ? Just a guess
^ In Chris' screenshot, there are two versions of Visual Basic Express. i.e. both are free.
I can only find visual basic express 2010 , can't find visual basic express 10. Not sure where you got the express 10 version from thenOriginally Posted by Arthur

But if OP re installed the app it would or should of over written itself. If I re install ccleaner or any other app it just over writes files, reg entries etc with the same values when it installs it the first time so why would installing VB Express 2010 suddenly make it come up as or with a different app name. So if you install it 3 times it will come up with VB.Net Express v2010 or something different to the first 2 ??
Did you try both options? did one option provide you with a working program? if so that's the right one?
