Assistance Please...
Can somebody help me create a form that gets the user name, and the last URL and sends it to an email? Both of these should be hidden though, so all you can see is the send/submit button. It can be coded in any format, and we use exchange if that helps? Thanks.

31st October 2011, 08:07 AM #3 Hi, it would be the last URL from the browser. Eg if I start on google.com and go straight to microsoft.com the last URL would be google.com. I know in php this would be HTTP_REFERRER. Thanks again.

That's not a referrer. Referrers is where it was linked from, So if google has a link to microsoft and you click it, it would become the referrer. If you type microsoft into the address bar you have no referrer (Unless I'm mistaken)
And what username? You shouldn't be trying to get the "windows" username as such, If you have a logged into site you can store that username for moving internally within your site, but I'm assuming from your description you more want their real usernames? (I'd be curious to why aswell
)

It's a bit hard to suggest a solution while guessing what you're trying to do? Is it some sort of form you want to fill in that gets a students previously visited websites?

2nd November 2011, 03:13 AM #6 Hi, sorry for not replying... I must be mistakes about the referrer then, again coding is not my strong point. The page is for Forefront TMG, when staff meet a blocked website they will be met with this page and then they can submit the site for approval. We need the usernames to see who has requested the site for approval.
