    Button Config??

    Hi Guys,

    Wanna know if this is possible?

    Have a page (called button_config) with all the button details (like below)

    Btn_Login()
    Var Image = "/image/button/Login.jpg"
    Var RollOverTxt = "Login"

    Btn_Logout()
    Var Image = "/image/button/Logout.jpg"
    Var RollOverTxt = "Logout"

    And then on the toolbar page / div have them populated as and when needed i.e. on the main page it would show the login button, as set on the 'main' page until the next page is loaded with the toolbar config.

    Bizzard .. Yep, Possible??

    Thanks

    Hi 01hanstu

    sounds to me like you have some form of login system already set up? if this is the case, and you have a variable set when a user logs in, then you can do the above

    just have a check for the variable being set, and use an if statement to use either bit of code ^_^

    just out of curiosity what language are you programming this in?

    Regards

    Looks like you're trying javascript/html/asp? I guess with asp

    In your button_config page you should have functions like:
    function LoginLogOutButton(var state)
    If state = true then
    var image = "/image/button/Login.jpg"
    Var RollOverTxt = "Login"
    Else
    var image = "/image/button/Logout.jpg"
    Var RollOverTxt = "Logout"
    End If
    end function

    In your main page where you call the function from you can call the function as such
    <%
    LoginLogOutButton(UserLoggedIn)
    %>

    Sorry can't be of more use, give some example of your code and I can have better look
