What's wrong with that? .NET 2.0 runs on every MS platform.
I know but 1.1 is more widespead. I don't want ot be forced into an upgrade before I know what the situation is with SIMS and other apps.
The various different versions of the .NET framework can be run side by side. It is perfectly possible to have 1.1 and 2.0 running on the same machine with no ill effect.
According to SIMS KB54041, there should be no problem with having .NET 1.1 and .NET 2.0 installed on the same machines. It also points out that .NET 2.0 is NOT and upgrade to .NET 1.1
Thanks AJ. I'll be starting a campaign to have you named as EduGeek's own Deployment MVP.
Soon as start of year rush is over I will be giving IronPython and the Express languages a whirl![]()
