I have a "i know it can be done" kind of question. In SQL server you can schedule and run a store procedure and have the results of the store procedure emailed to you. However, I need to achieve the same result in mysql, any ideas how to achieve this?
Thanks in advance

How pretty does it need to be?
If you are on linux, you could pipe the output of mysql into sendmail etc.. and wang that in cron. Bit prettier if you want to delve into perl/DBI/Mail::Send.
If you are on windows... beats me ;-P

What version of SQL you using?
MSSQL, mySQL etc.
If you're using MSSQL Express, I don't think it has a built in emailing system. The only way I can think of doing it is making a batch file, using the sqlcmd function.

I'm running the lastest versions of both as they are both new installs.
After playing with MS SQL linked in server settings, most of last night into the early hours of this morning!!!, i have managed to get the results in to MS SQL. from there I have used database mail to email myself the results
