    Assembly Office Version 11.0.0.0 installation

    Happy New Year, eduGeeks everywhere.

A student has written a program for his project using Visual Studio. I'm trying to run it on my laptop (as .net 3.5 won't package up properly..but that's another issue....)

I'm getting an error message saying "The application requires that assembly office Version 11.0.0.0 be installed in the Global Assembly Cache (GAC) first. Contact your system administrator".. which is me...

From what I've speedily learnt, I need to import this assembly using the Gacutil.exe ...but where do I get it from!!

    Any suggestions gratefully received.

    Nick

There's a redistributable that will probably do the trick. Google for this: O2003PIA.EXE
