Disable controls and change window size

I have created an exam environment for our schools, it comprises of 3 files; a .kix file that says if they are in the examination group run a .vbs file. The .vbs file kills the explorer.exe task so they don't have any taskbar or desktop shortcuts and then opens a .hta file.

The .hta file is a user interface that has icons for apps like Win Word that executes the application when you click on it. There is also a log off button.

I am looking for some kind of code that stops the students from being able to close, minimise and resize the window. Does anyone know of any code that can lock this down so they literally can't do anything except click the icons inside the window.

Hope this all makes sense? I have the codes if you want them

I coded it my self using html and changed the extension to hta so it opens in an application window. I have Visual Basic but can't seem to get it to work with the coding i have already done.

Perfect! Just tested it and it seems to work exactly how I want. Is there a way to say closeButton="no"? I tried that but it didn't work.

    Thanks though!!

You found that on Google? I've been searching all day but not found anything. Ah well, thanks anyway and enjoy your holiday

Sorry to bother you all again, does anyone know of a way to get the HTA window to automatically open in the center of the screen no matter that the resolution is? I currently use windows.moveto 100,50 as it gets it in the center the best.

Our window is set to a specific size 985x758 because of the way it is designed, plus i have now disabled the maximise control so the background doesn't tile.
