Just a quick query to find out if anyone is having trouble with their e-mail services from Capita?
Since August we've had no end in sight of lasting problems with our e-mails. We've had e-mails not being successfully delivered to intended recipients, especially the LA, with no errors informing you it hasn't gone through, therefore the sender is lead to believe that the recipient has received the e-mail, and e-mails that continue to get delayed for hours on end.
I'm pretty fed up of being past from pillar to post with no suitable solution. As a result of this, and the expensive cost involved with Openhive, I've been instructed to look at other viable alternatives.
This is all too familiar I'm afraid.
We migrated our internal exchange over to them back in October (a decision I had no say in, all on NM and SLT), and we've had nothing but problems since.
I understand we're now looking at alternate solutions, hopefully back to an internally hosted exchange.
What are your contracts like as we looked at moving from Capita but were told we are locked into the contract for another 18 months
Honestly, I'm not sure although I shall find out and let you know.
We've had appalling service so far, which has been well and truly documented.
I can believe, given the lack of service we've received, that it would make little sense attempting to honour a contract.
Since the introduction of Openhive, our Helpdesk has been inundated with calls relating to the email system. Quite honestly, it's embarrassing.
