Ah, I see. Still it's not appropriate for this use, but thankfully we're not using ereaders. However we don't have to transfer anything either - *everything* on overdrive just opens on mobile devices here? (iPads, iphones, androids). I'm still not happy with the whole setup but that's neither MLS or Overdrive's fault.

On your mobile device do you not need an adobe account for the digital rights management or is this all handled by the overdrive app?
-
That's done by the app as far as I know. We tested it on 3 devices (ipad, android phone, iphone)

I would be interested to know if you need to still use an adobe id in the app. Could you let me know? As this would be really useful as we are going to use people own device aswell on bring your own device scheme

I just downloaded overdrive media console onto my iPhone to test things out. We have not signed up yet but are starting a trial soon.
As soon as you open the overdrive app is asks you to authorize an Adobe ID.
We intend to get 30 LearnPads (Android) to run the e library with (not just using them for this). Are we stil going to have the issue with pupils signing in and out etc.
Is it best to make each pupil use the same Tablet each time therefore lessening the chance of hitting the 6 device limit.
