Easymail problems sending when on non School Wifi

One of our many Assistant Head's came to me with a persistent Easymail issue this morning. She uses a school iPad and the built in mail accounts - one of which has been set up with her Easymail settings. If she is using the device in school she can send to both other staff and external e-mail addresses but when on external wifi she can send to staff but not to external e-mail accounts. Odd - any thoughts on this please?

It's a general problem. The SMTP server address is not allow on a non SWGfL connection.

Not sure if there is a way around it. Most of our schools we have moved to Office 365 due to this problem
