    Yeah read that but:
    • If you have the Education, Nonprofit, or Government edition of Google Apps, contact your Google account manager or sales representative to purchase Vault.
How do I contact a Google Account Manager or who actually sells this?

You need to sign up for google apps for education first, to get the basic free package (email/drive/apps/calendar) in order to order the extra vault (vault is obviously only linked to gmail)

I'm assuming then, when you sign up for the google apps for education, you will have a google rep to help you.

    Have you signed up yet?

    Cheers

Yes we have had Google Apps for a while now. No sign of any Google Account Manager...

I've just emailed the guy I quoted above to see if he can suggest who we should be talking to.

Right, my Google contact says we need to contact Home by c-learning who deal with GAFE on behalf of Google.

I am looking at Vault for my primary schools but the following page seems to suggest you need x amount of users EDIT: and x amount of £.

    https://docs.google.com/forms/d/14Fu...vB0zw/viewform

100 user or $1000 minimum for Google Vault for Education
Going to contact them and see whats what.

Ooh thanks for reminding me about this thread.
Got quote and yes it's £6.60 per staff and students are free (min 100 staff) (UK prices) so that's £660 for us. Going to order today.

So any small primary schools are basically blocked from vault as they do not have enough staff and will never pay the min cost.

    Pretty much
Although we don't have 100 staff accounts we do have 600 kids so overall the cost is ok for us but yeah smaller schools are probably priced out.

Can anyone tell me the benefits of the vault please? Are you doing this for legal compliance or just because that has been the way? ta
