Login to your Office 365 Admin Portal, Select Users & Groups

Seems that the more information page is missing the download link. It can however be found on this page Install or upgrade the Directory Sync tool
keeping fingers crossed.

just to confirm, the new version 1.0.6467.0010 does appear to fix the issue. Rebuilt Friday night and going over two days now without the dreaded 611 error. Thanks James and all.

Good to hear... it is important to remember if you ever experience any issues with the likes of DirSync always make sure that you are running the latest version of the application. (if you see that error more importantly).
