Should Outlook be run in Cached mode with Office365?
Thanks James. I guess, what I am trying to find out, and probably what I should have asked is, for those of you using Office365 are you doing so in cached mode?
My advice is to leave it in cached mode. Cached mode gets you much faster searching, and IIRC the social connector does not work at all without it. This may not be an issue for your environment; personally I find the LinkedIn connector very useful (and the Facebook connector entertaining).
It's more for speed. I've migrated a few users over and turned of cache mode and Outlook takes a good 5 minutes to open. It's crazy and frustrating them and me!
