Does anyone use a "cloud gateway" product? They basically look like a local cache for cloud-stored data, so you access your local device via iSCSI, CIFS/NFS, etc to read / write data and any data written gets sent along to some kind of cloud-based storage. Most cloud storage services seem to offer an Amazon AWS-compatible RESTful API for access, so the cloud gateway device has the job of converting between that API and iSCSI / whatever you want to use locally. I'm just wondering if anyone uses one, and the kind of cost involved?
